Lynx Smart BMS (NG) v1.14 firmware update
Last month, we released firmware update v1.14 for Lynx Smart BMS (NG), which includes a number of important fixes and improvements, including those specific to the NG (New Generation) series.
More accurate state of charge (SoC) indicators
Improved synchronization between battery monitor and charge control — jumping to 100% SoC now works more stably.
Updated voltage values
Standard charging voltages: 13.9V / 27.8V / 41.7V / 55.6V
(old devices with 14.0V voltage are updated automatically for correct SoC calculation).
Float voltage: 13.5V / 27.0V / 40.5V / 54.0V — now complies with official instructions.
Fixed alarm relay error, which did not trigger when overheating.
Smoother transition to support mode
Especially noticeable when working with Multi or Quattro — system gets more time to stabilize.
NG Series Improvements
Fixed the re-absorption charge timer — now once every 30 days by default.
Added cell ID display for minimum and maximum voltages and temperatures — now visible in VRM (requires latest GX device beta).
Data loop test
- If you connect the battery BMS ports with a loop cable, the system will close the contactor, but the charge/discharge will be disabled — to check the interface's performance.
- If the interface is faulty, the contactor will not close.
- The test starts automatically.
