Multi RS and Victron Systems Update

Main changes in Multi RS 1.26

We recently released Multi RS version 1.26, which allows you to connect to the VM-3P75CT energy meter via Ethernet, adds support for the network code for Austria, and offers several other improvements.

Other important update

Two other updates this week:

With Multi RS 1.26, it is now possible to connect Multi RS to the VM-3P75CTmeter via Ethernet via the GX device, which greatly simplifies the installation of Multi RS in ESS systems.

The most interesting improvements

🔋

Self-consumption from the battery can supply all system loads or only critical loads if there is an energy meter.

📡

Mains loss alarm only works if AC input type is set to mains.

🔄

Fixed inverter start-up in three-phase/parallel systems when mains returns during low state of charge (SoC) or in “prevent discharge” mode.

🌤️

Delayed partial shading scan if tracker is voltage or power limited (models with built-in MPPT).

How do I install the update?

For systems connected to the VRM Portal: it is recommended to use the VRM remote firmware update feature. Detailed instructions can be found at here. For more information about the VRM portal, visit this page.

For systems not connected to the VRM portal: we recommend waiting untillatest version of VictronConnect software, which will automatically offer to update the firmware after connection. Or download the firmware file from the Victron Professional library and use VictronConnect software self-update file method.
