VictronConnect Version 6.30
The VictronConnect app version 6.30 offers a range of new features designed to simplify system monitoring and management for both professionals and end-users. These include VRM integration, new system monitoring tools, better insights during firmware updates, and a batch programming feature.
Main Control Innovations
VRM Integration
The VictronConnect app has become the go-to application for direct access to Victron products and system monitoring, allowing you to configure, update firmware, and monitor in real-time via Bluetooth with quick access from your phone. The VRM portal, on the other hand, provides full remote system monitoring from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection, providing a complete system overview, detailed performance analysis, remote support, and tools for managing fleets and multiple systems. VictronConnect version 6.30 brings these two worlds closer together.
Access to the VRM dashboard is now built directly into the VictronConnect app. Previously, when accessing a system remotely via the VRM tab, the app would redirect you to the VRM portal for full system information. Now, you can view the system dashboard directly within VictronConnect, including control switching, overview data, and dynamic ESS information such as calculations and graphs, making it easier to understand what is happening in your system from one place.
VictronConnect on Android Auto
If your vehicle supports Android Auto, you can now view key system information directly on your car's display while driving.
- Instant Readout: The feature uses Bluetooth readout and does not require additional configuration or a GX device.
- Smart Range Support: Instant readout data will automatically be displayed on the car dashboard.
- Absolute Safety: Allows you to easily monitor system status while driving a camper or commercial vehicle.
Monitoring and Analytics
Android Widgets and Notifications
Android users can place widgets on their phone's home screen to quickly view important system information without opening the app. You can also now enable notifications so your phone alerts you when certain issues need attention, giving you peace of mind that your system is running smoothly without having to constantly check it.
Notifications and widgets use Bluetooth instant readout and work when your phone is within range of supported devices.
Advanced Trends
Trend data is now clearer and more detailed, making it easier to track your system's performance over time. The updated graphs are easier to read and interpret, and provide access to deeper system information, helping to build a clearer picture of energy production, consumption, and battery behavior.
- Trend data is now also included when exporting product settings
- Simplifies record keeping or sharing data for support or analysis
- Support for all products with stored data
Tools for Professionals
Smarter Firmware Updates
With VictronConnect version 6.30, firmware updates now display release notes directly on the update screen, making it easier to review changes before updating. Release notes remain visible during the update process, providing a clearer picture of each firmware version.
The built-in firmware library can now also update automatically when an Internet connection is available, keeping the latest firmware versions ready even between app updates. Firmware updates can still be performed offline, as before.
Batch Programming
Finally, a feature that many installers will appreciate: batch programming. You can now apply settings files and firmware updates to multiple devices simultaneously.
This feature supports both VE.Direct (wired) and Smart (Bluetooth) products, simplifying the management of mixed systems. The short video below provides a quick overview of how it works.
Summary
VictronConnect version 6.30 makes managing energy systems even more seamless and convenient — no matter where you are: near the device, driving your car, or on another continent.
Bringing VRM and local monitoring closer together takes the user experience to a new level.
