What is PowerAssist?
PowerAssist — This is an extension of the PowerControl capabilities. If consumers require more power than the grid or generator can provide, the MultiPlus or Quattro inverter automatically adds energy from the batteries. This increases the total available power, and the system operates stably even during peaks.
📘 Application examples
There is only 5 kW at the input, and the residents simultaneously turn on the stove, pump and air conditioners — 8 kW are required. PowerAssist picks up the difference of 3 kW from the battery, without overloading the network. When the load drops — the batteries are charging again.
The campsite only has 10 A (≈2.3 kW), and you need to run the microwave and coffee maker at the same time. The inverter adds another 1-2 kW from the battery. The guest is comfortable, the outlet is not overloaded, and you — fine. A very important option for motorhomes.
A small 3 kW generator will start the tool, but you still need a compressor with peak current. PowerAssist adds missing power from the battery and protects the generator from overload.
The facility rents a space with a small limit — for example, 7 kW, but at peak times 10-12 kW are needed. PowerAssist allows you to avoid expensive limit increases: the system «tops up» the necessary energy from the battery.
