Battery combiner Victron BCD 802 80A for 2 batteries - this is a diode combiner of batteries, which allows you to provide critical loads with power from two DC sources simultaneously. If one source fails, the power is automatically maintained by the other, without the need for switching.
The device is designed specifically for mission-critical systems such as electronic engine control systems, telecommunications equipment, marine systems and emergency power systems.
Thanks to the use of Schottky diodes, the device has a low voltage drop, reducing heat loss and ensuring high efficiency.
Key advantages of the Victron BCD 802 battery combiner
- Connection of up to 2 batteries for one consumer
- Continuous power supply to the load, even if one source fails
- Low voltage drop thanks to Schottky diodes (≈0.3-0.45 V)
- Compatible with 12 V and 24 V systems
- Compact size and easy installation
- Passive operation without complex electronics
- No standby current consumption
- Ideal for critical systems that cannot be left without power
