Can Quant withstand overload?

Yes, it withstands short-term overloads up to 25% of the nominal value for 10 seconds. It also withstands a short circuit (short circuit) at the output, while delivering maximum current (up to 200% of the nominal) for up to 0.5 seconds.

How does Quant work during overloads?

When the permissible overload is exceeded - the input circuit breaker is turned off.

When there is a short circuit at the output - it turns off the output, considering this to be the connection of a powerful load with a large starting current. But before that, it repeats the start attempt 10 times with intervals of 6 seconds. This mode avoids the wiring from catching fire due to heating by the short-circuit current, increases safety, but at the same time allows you to start loads whose starting power exceeds the power of the stabilizer (the output voltage at the moment of start will drop significantly, remember this. This is not a standard mode, but an additional mode, it is better to buy a stabilizer with a margin for starting power, as is traditionally always done).

Why doesn't the Quant voltage stabilizer make noise during operation?

There is nothing to buzz or hum at an operating temperature of up to 65 ºC. If the temperature is higher – The stabilizer includes a fan for active cooling, but due to the high efficiency of the stabilizers, it does not operate at maximum speed, but only helps natural cooling.

The service life or resource of the Quant stabilizer is at least 12 years from the moment of start of operation.

Does the Quant stabilizer work with solar power plants?

Quant will work with solar power plants, both at the input and at the output. That is, if the neighbors have a solar power plant on the line and it creates problems in the form of voltage surges every time its inverter's overvoltage protection is triggered (for example, when the sun is too bright), then only an inverter stabilizer, such as Quant, can eliminate these sharp voltage surges.

In other cases, connecting a solar power plant to the stabilizer output in order to "pump" the required amount of energy through a weak line to raise its voltage is permissible only for a dedicated line. Otherwise, the neighbors' equipment on this (shared) line may fail (Quant can output up to 350V to the line when turned back on, if such a shutdown threshold is selected in the stabilizer settings).
