Total-Energo LLC provides professional services for repair and maintenance of high-power Vertiv (formerly Emerson) Trinergy® UPS systems with capacities ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 kW. These are flagship modular three-phase UPS systems with dynamic operating mode control, designed for mission-critical facilities, including large data centers, industrial enterprises, banking infrastructure, and telecommunications.
Trinergy™ combines three operating modes—Double Conversion, Line Interactive, and ECO—with automatic switching depending on the quality of the input voltage, providing efficiency up to 99%. The system supports hot-swappable power modules, power scaling, centralized monitoring, and synchronization with external sources, including generators.
Repair Work Procedure
- Complete technical diagnostics of the system: reading controller logs, analyzing error codes, checking module interaction;
- Inspection of power components: checking inverters, rectifiers, static bypass, control boards, temperature and current sensors;
- Testing of operating modes: Double Conversion, Dynamic Online, ECO, Bypass – analysis of system operation under various load types;
- Verification of power module performance: assessment of load uniformity, cooling status, vibrations, and temperature;
- Cleaning and maintenance: cleaning of filters, radiators, and ventilation ducts; inspection of module mountings and connection integrity;
- Replacement of faulty modules or boards (power, BMS, interface, SNMP, or MODBUS gateways);
- Firmware updates for the main controller, display panel, BMS, and related components as needed;
- Commissioning and debugging: testing all operating modes, restoring synchronization with the generator, verifying parallel operation with other systems;
- Preparation of a work completion report with a detailed technical conclusion, a list of replaced components, and recommendations for further operation.
In the event of severe damage to power modules or control elements, repairs are performed at the service facility of Total-Energo LLC followed by bench testing.
Battery system maintenance
The Trinergy™ series works with external high-capacity battery systems. We perform a full range of services:
- Replacement and upgrading of AGM, GEL, or Ni-Cd batteries;
- Option to switch to LiFePO4 — subject to technical compatibility and BMS updates;
- Advantages of LiFePO4 for Trinergy™:
- Longer service life (10–15 years);
- Reduced weight of the battery circuit;
- Increased energy efficiency (up to 96–98%);
- High safety level (built-in BMS, thermal stability);
- Optimization of space in the battery room.
- Battery cabinet testing: checking voltages, resistance, temperatures, and presence of imbalance;
- Preventive maintenance of the charging system: assessment of current stability, updating of controller parameters;
- Analysis of standalone mode: verification of backup time under maximum and nominal load.
Trinergy™ service support
- Scheduled maintenance: visual inspection, measurements, battery service, sensor calibration;
- Configuration of SNMP, Modbus, and BACnet gateways for remote control and monitoring;
- Integration with DCIM systems: consulting, software adaptation, and compatibility with IT infrastructure;
- Energy audit: determining power usage efficiency, load optimization;
- Emergency support: dispatch of a service engineer to the site in the event of a failure or critical incident — within 4 hours in Kyiv and the surrounding region.
Signing a service agreement
Total-Energo LLC offers customized terms for a long-term Vertiv Trinergy™ service agreement, which includes:
- Annual or quarterly technical maintenance;
- Prompt updates of software and controller firmware;
- Priority delivery of power modules and spare parts from the warehouse;
- Compilation of a complete package of technical documentation;
- Support from certified Vertiv engineers.
