Total-Energo LLC provides professional services for repair and maintenance of Vertiv Liebert® Trinergy Cube modular uninterruptible power supplies—high-tech three-phase UPS systems scalable up to 3.4 MVA. These are mission-critical solutions for data centers, telecommunications, industrial facilities, and infrastructure institutions.
Liebert® Trinergy Cube is Vertiv’s flagship model, combining the flexibility of modular architecture, exceptional efficiency (up to 99% in Dynamic Online mode), and advanced adaptability. The system allows dynamic switching between three modes (VFI, VI, VFD), supports parallel operation, provides full scalability without load interruption, and integrates with external management systems (BMS, SCADA).
Repair Work Algorithm
- Initial Diagnostics: reading logs from the centralized controller, analyzing SNMP/Modbus messages, visual inspection of the system;
- Assessment of power module condition: checking the operational status of individual power modules, including the rectifier, inverter, and bypass;
- Diagnosis of internal buses: checking connections of DC and AC buses, condition of connectors and jumpers;
- Cooling system check: assessment of the operation of ventilation modules, temperature sensors, and air ducts; activation of fan test mode;
- Backup power testing: verification of proper operation with external battery cabinets or battery packs;
- Replacement of damaged or worn components: power modules, displays, control boards, contactors, control boards;
- Software updates taking into account the facility’s architecture;
- Commissioning and debugging: verifying system operation in VFI, VFD, and ECO modes; changing load configuration during operation;
- Conducting comprehensive testing: modular testing of each unit under load, testing of hot-swap capability and load distribution uniformity;
- Preparation of a work completion report with technical conclusions, diagrams, and recommendations for further operation.
Complex repairs (at the level of IGBT components, logic controllers, and DC-bus) are performed at the service center of Total-Energo LLC using test bench equipment and original spare parts.
Replacement and upgrade of battery systems
- Replacement of lead-acid batteries (AGM or GEL) with new ones in the appropriate configuration according to the technical design;
- Upgrade to LiFePO4 systems with built-in BMS, providing:
- Service life of 10–15 years;
- Reduced weight and load on the floor/cabinet structure;
- Real-time monitoring of temperature, current, and overvoltage;
- Significant reduction in charging time and efficiency up to 96%;
- Compatibility with backup power systems with charger module adaptation.
- Optimization of backup runtime: design of new battery banks tailored to the facility’s needs;
- Control logic configuration taking into account changes in the battery circuit (discharge, DOD, automatic switching).
Vertiv Liebert® Trinergy Cube service support
- Periodic inspections: quarterly/semiannual checks in accordance with OEM recommendations;
- 24/7 monitoring (by contract): SNMP, SCADA, or via Vertiv cloud monitoring;
- Component wear prediction: analysis of logs, module status, batteries, and system thermal conditions;
- Power redundancy: verification of N+X configurations, support for “hot swap” functionality, and load balancing between modules;
- Integration with BMS/DCIM: configuration of MODBUS, BACnet, SNMP, Web, dry contact relays, and more.
