Total-Energo LLC performs professional repairs, maintenance, and upgrades of Socomec NETYS PR Mini Tower UPS units. This series of online double-conversion UPSs provides stable power for office PCs, workstations, POS terminals, telecom equipment, and consumer electronics. Thanks to the compact Tower design, a wide input voltage range, and the ability to connect external battery packs, the NETYS PR Mini series models are the optimal solution for small and medium-load applications. Total-Energo LLC performs repairs of any complexity, using only certified spare parts and professional equipment.
Repair Work Procedure
- Diagnostics – inspection of the inverter, rectifier, control board, voltage stabilizer, communication interfaces (RS-232, USB), display, ventilation system, power switches, and fuses;
- Battery condition assessment – testing of voltage, capacity, and overall battery life, checking of protections and power switching relays;
- Preparation of a defect report – recording inspection results and preparing a technical report, including agreement on timelines and budget with the customer;
- Supply of spare parts – if necessary, supply of original components or certified replacements from stock or on order;
- Device cleaning – thorough cleaning of the housing, circuit boards, and contacts to remove dust, dirt, and corrosion; inspection of thermal paste and power contacts;
- Repair or replacement of components – restoration of faulty assemblies, replacement of damaged power supply units, indicator boards, or fans;
- Commissioning and debugging – updating the controller firmware, calibrating parameters, checking the switching between mains/battery/bypass modes;
- Load testing – simulation of emergency scenarios, verification of output voltage stability, runtime, and thermal conditions;
- Signing of the work completion report – formal documentation of repair completion with recommendations for operation.
In the event of critical damage or the need to use bench equipment, repair work is carried out at the service center of Total-Energo LLC.
Battery replacement
Socomec NETYS PR Mini Tower models are typically equipped with internal VRLA AGM batteries. Total-Energo LLC provides the following services:
- Replacement of worn-out batteries – selection and installation of batteries in accordance with nominal specifications (12V, 7–9 Ah);
- Installation of more powerful or external battery packs – subject to the technical capabilities of the model;
- Upgrades to LiFePO4 – installation of lithium batteries according to a specially approved design, with the following advantages:
- Increased cycle count (over 4,000);
- Low weight and compact dimensions;
- Inclusion of a BMS system with protection and balancing;
- Fast charging, low self-discharge;
- Safety, environmental friendliness, and maintenance-free operation.
Service Support
- Regular maintenance – including preventive inspections, load testing, and inspection of the housing and battery;
- Software updates – control system firmware updates upon detection of errors or unstable operation;
- Rapid on-site response by a specialist – for diagnostics or emergency troubleshooting
- Documentation support – inspection reports, work completion certificates, user recommendations;
- Technical consultations – assistance in selecting new batteries, operating modes, and redundancy.
Service contract
Total-Energo LLC offers flexible terms for signing a service contract for the maintenance of Socomec NETYS PR Mini Tower, including:
- Periodic engineer visits – once a quarter, every six months, or according to an individual schedule;
- Availability of key spare parts in stock – to speed up the repair process;
- Priority service – when signing a contract with an SLA (up to 24-hour response time);
- Equipment monitoring – where possible, remote monitoring via SNMP/Wi-Fi/LAN adapters;
- Comprehensive technical reports – provided to the client after each visit.
