Total-Energo LLC provides professional repair, maintenance, and modernization services for Socomec ITYS uninterruptible power supplies — single-phase online double-conversion UPS units designed to protect critical equipment in small and medium-sized businesses, offices, automated control systems, servers, laboratory equipment, and medical devices. The ITYS series includes models with capacities ranging from 1 to 10 kVA, featuring a compact design, a wide input voltage range, low harmonic distortion, and the ability to connect external batteries to extend runtime.
Total-Energo LLC performs repairs of any complexity, replacing faulty components with original or certified equivalents in accordance with Socomec’s technical standards.
Repair Work Procedure
- Initial Diagnostics – comprehensive inspection of the inverter, rectifier, charge controller, control board, display, bypass system, and interfaces (USB, RS-232, SNMP);
- Battery testing – analysis of voltage, resistance, capacity, cyclic degradation, and behavior under load;
- Ventilation and cooling assessment – diagnostics of temperature sensors, fan condition, presence of contamination or overheating;
- Preparation of a technical report – drafting a defect report detailing malfunctions, repair costs, and approval by the customer;
- Spare Parts Supply – prompt replacement or ordering of power modules, circuit boards, connectors, indicator displays, etc.;
- Component Cleaning – removal of dust and oxides, preventive cleaning of heat sinks, inspection of thermal pads;
- Repair – soldering of circuit boards, replacement of power supply components, firmware updates, calibration;
- Debugging and testing – checking operation in various modes (mains, battery, bypass), testing protections and automatic switching;
- Issuing a work completion report – documentary confirmation of services provided, technical recommendations.
In the event of complex repairs or the need to use a laboratory test bench, repairs are performed at the service center of Total-Energo LLC.
Battery replacement
ITYS series UPSs support operation with internal and external batteries. Total-Energo LLC offers:
- Replacement of standard AGM or GEL batteries with new ones backed by a warranty of up to 24 months;
- Expansion of the battery bank – to increase runtime by connecting external battery cabinets;
- Upgrade to LiFePO4 – with the following advantages:
- Over 4,000 discharge cycles without capacity loss;
- Low self-discharge and high energy density;
- Integrated BMS system – protection against overvoltage, short circuits, and overheating;
- Lighter weight and smaller size compared to lead-acid batteries;
- Environmental friendliness, durability, and fire resistance.
Service Support
- Periodic Maintenance – including load testing, diagnostics of cooling systems and switching nodes;
- Firmware updates – installation of recommended controller software updates from the manufacturer;
- Engineer on-site visits – to sites of any complexity, including service on weekends or holidays;
- Documentation – preparation of technical reports, recommendations, work completion reports, and defect reports;
- Technical consultation – assistance with load optimization, power supply configuration, and selection of batteries and UPS units for backup.
Service Agreement
Total-Energo LLC offers an individual service agreement for Socomec ITYS, which includes:
- Periodic engineer visits – according to an approved schedule (1–4 times per year);
- Equipment status monitoring – via SNMP or local communication channels;
- Stockpiling of standard spare parts – to ensure a rapid response in case of emergencies;
- Priority service – within the scope of an SLA agreement for urgent support;
- Complete service history – maintenance of an electronic equipment record containing all repairs, inspections, and battery replacements.
