The Powercom NXT series covers a power range from 10 to 120 kVA, supports parallel operation (up to 4 units), features high efficiency up to 96%, and offers functionality for flexible load adaptation. A built-in color LCD display, along with support for SNMP, RS-485, Dry Contact, and USB, allows for effective integration of the equipment into any infrastructure. Thanks to a wide range of input voltage and frequency, these UPS units operate effectively even in unstable power grids.
Repair Work Procedure
- Diagnostics: reading logs and event logs, checking the inverter, rectifier, bypass, and control units;
- Analysis of the battery unit: checking voltage, resistance, capacity, and cell balance;
- Checking the power section: testing IGBT modules, relays, fuses, chokes, transformers, and filters;
- Testing the control board: controller, interfaces (RS-232, SNMP, USB), display, indicators, monitoring system;
- Cleaning the cooling system: blowing out radiators, replacing faulty fans, checking temperature control;
- Preparation of a defect report describing the malfunctions and agreeing on the scope of work and cost estimate;
- Replacement of failed components: power switches, drivers, logic, display, batteries, connectors, etc.;
- Firmware update for the controller (if necessary and updates are available);
- Commissioning: testing operation in all modes (online, battery, bypass, parallel);
- Load testing: functional testing under loads up to 100%;
- Signing of the work completion report, handover of equipment for operation with recommendations to the user.
In the case of complex repairs (e.g., replacement of power modules or logic), work is performed at the service center of Total-Energo LLC using professional diagnostic equipment.
Replacement and modernization of batteries
Powercom NXT works with external high-capacity battery modules. We offer:
- Replacement of worn-out VRLA AGM or GEL batteries with new industrial batteries with a service life of 5–10 years;
- Upgrade to LiFePO4 batteries, with the following advantages:
- Service life of over 10 years or 6,000+ cycles;
- Enhanced thermal stability and fire safety;
- Reduced size and weight of the battery array;
- High energy efficiency and fast charging;
- Intelligent monitoring system (BMS);
- Ability to extend runtime without replacing the UPS.
- Battery balancing, controller configuration for new battery parameters, load testing.
Powercom NXT UPS service support
- Scheduled maintenance including inspection of battery condition, logic, cooling, interfaces, and bypass;
- Real-time monitoring via SNMP or MODBUS, integration into network control systems;
- Rapid response to emergencies, replacement of equipment if necessary;
- Preparation of a technical report with recommendations and analysis of the device’s operational history;
- Staff training, instruction on operating UPSs and backup power systems.
Signing a service contract
Total-Energo LLC offers a maintenance contract for Powercom NXT UPS under the following terms:
- Periodic maintenance — 1–4 times per year;
- Priority response (4–8 hours after contact);
- Warranty on parts and labor — up to 12 months;
- Monitoring and scheduled battery replacement based on wear forecasts;
- Discounts on upgrades, expansions, and integration with BMS/SCADA.
