Repair Work Procedure
- Initial Diagnostics: reading logs, analyzing event logs, checking the operation of the inverter, rectifier, charging module, and bypass;
- Control board testing: microprocessor, interfaces, display, battery interaction logic, protection system;
- Inspection of power modules: IGBTs, chokes, diodes, resistors, filters, relays, load boards, and drivers;
- Battery condition assessment: checking voltage, internal resistance, temperature, and degradation;
- Cleaning and restoration of ventilation: blowing out radiators, replacement or repair of fans, checking temperature sensors;
- Preparation of a defect report with agreement on the scope of work, deadlines, and cost;
- Supply of necessary spare parts: original components or equivalents in accordance with technical specifications;
- Firmware updates (if new versions are available from the manufacturer);
- Commissioning and debugging: testing operation in all modes (mains, batteries, bypass, test load);
- Final testing: verification of runtime, load stability, and correct display;
- Signing of the work completion report, provision of recommendations for operation and maintenance.
In the event of complex malfunctions or the need for repairs at the board/IGBT module level, repairs are performed at the service center of Total-Energo LLC, using diagnostic test benches.
Battery replacement and modernization
Powercom MAC supports large battery arrays for extended autonomous operation. We offer:
- Replacement of standard AGM/GEL batteries with new ones backed by a warranty of up to 10 years;
- Upgrade to LiFePO4 batteries, with key advantages:
- Lifespan of over 6,000 cycles;
- Lighter weight and smaller dimensions of the battery pack;
- Low self-discharge and high thermal stability;
- Safety: fire resistance, no gas emission;
- BMS support with monitoring of each cell;
- Improved overall efficiency of the backup power system.
- Battery pack balancing, configuration of charge/discharge modes according to the new battery type.
