Total-Energo LLC provides a full range of services for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of KStar UD series uninterruptible power supplies. These are line-interactive single-phase UPS units, widely used to protect workstations, cash register systems, POS terminals, video surveillance cameras, and household and office equipment. Thanks to the AVR (automatic voltage regulator), the UD series ensures stable operation of connected equipment even on an unstable power grid. We perform repairs of any complexity using certified spare parts and guarantee the quality of the work performed.
Repair Work Procedure
Repairs of KStar UD Series UPSs are performed in accordance with the standards of the “Total-Energo” LLC service center and include the following stages:
- Diagnostics — checking the operation of the inverter, stabilization relay, charging module, control circuits, interfaces, and display;
- Preparation of a defect report — recording of identified malfunctions, agreement on repair costs and timelines with the customer;
- Supply of spare parts — ordering the necessary components from the manufacturer or an official supplier, if required;
- Cleaning the device — cleaning ventilation openings, circuit boards, terminals, and the battery compartment of dust and oxidation;
- Repair or replacement of modules — repair or replacement of faulty circuit boards, transformers, relays, indicators, or buttons;
- Commissioning and debugging — testing all modes (mains, standalone, charging), voltage stability, and load response;
- Final testing — simulation of operation under load, monitoring of output parameters, switching time;
- Documentation preparation — signing of the work completion certificate, submission of the technical report to the customer.
If deep component restoration is required, repairs are performed at the service center of Total-Energo LLC using professional equipment.
Battery replacement
KStar UD Series UPSs are equipped with internal lead-acid batteries that require regular replacement. We offer:
- Battery diagnostics — measurement of voltage, capacity, runtime, and inspection for swollen or degraded cells;
- Battery replacement — installation of new AGM batteries in accordance with the UPS manufacturer’s specifications;
- Upgrade to LiFePO4 — an optional upgrade to increase the service life and efficiency of the battery pack.
Advantages of lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4):
- Long service life — up to 10–15 years, up to 6,000 cycles;
- Lighter weight — ease of maintenance and installation;
- Safety — no electrolyte leakage, stability at high temperatures;
- BMS — charge balancing, protection against overvoltage and overheating.
Service support
