Repair Work Procedure
Repairs of KStar UC series UPS units are performed according to a structured procedure, adhering to all stages:
- Diagnostics — hardware testing of key components (inverter, rectifier, bypass, control system, battery), checking the error history, reading logs;
- Defect report generation — documentation of identified faults and coordination of the technical solution with the customer;
- Spare Parts Delivery — ordering of original power supplies, circuit boards, or display modules as needed;
- Device Cleaning — removal of dust, cleaning of ventilation openings, connectors, and circuit boards from contaminants;
- Repair or replacement of components — restoration of damaged circuit boards, power supply components, control logic, and interfaces;
- Commissioning and debugging — verification of correct operation in various modes: main power, bypass, and battery power;
- Final testing — operation under load, verification of output voltage stability, frequency, and absence of malfunctions;

Maintenance and replacement of rechargeable batteries
The KStar UC series is compatible with built-in or external rechargeable batteries, depending on the model. We provide a full range of services for rechargeable batteries:
- Battery diagnostics — analysis of voltage, internal resistance, backup time, and charge balance between cells;
- Battery replacement — installation of new AGM or GEL batteries in accordance with the UPS capacity and customer requirements;
- Switching to LiFePO4 — upgrading the battery pack to extend service life and increase runtime.

- Longer service life (up to 15 years) and 4,000–6,000 charge/discharge cycles;
- Lightweight and compact dimensions while maintaining capacity;

Total-Energo LLC provides a full service cycle for KStar UC UPSs, including:
- Scheduled visits for device inspection (1–2 times a year);

- Maintenance history tracking — monitoring the device’s technical condition over time;
- Emergency response — an engineer will visit within 24 hours in the event of a UPS failure.
