Total-Energo LLC provides professional services for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of KStar UBR Series uninterruptible power supplies—single-phase or three-phase modular online UPS units designed for installation in 19-inch racks. This series is designed for flexible protection of IT infrastructure, server rooms, telecommunications equipment, as well as security and automation systems. We perform repairs of any complexity, using only original or manufacturer-recommended spare parts.
Repair Work Procedure
Maintenance and repair of KStar UBR UPS units are performed in accordance with the internal regulations of our service center:
- Diagnostics — inspection of the inverter, rectifier, bypass, control system, interfaces, and battery controller modules;
- Preparation of a defect report — identification of malfunctions, agreement on the cost and schedule of work with the customer;
- Supply of spare parts — if necessary, modules or components are ordered from the manufacturer or an official supplier;
- Device cleaning — removal of dust from fans, circuit boards, connectors, and other components;
- Repair or replacement of modules — replacement or restoration of damaged power boards, power supply modules, control modules, and display units;
- Commissioning and debugging — configuring operating parameters, synchronizing modules, and verifying input and output characteristics;
- Final testing — under load, including verification of bypass switching and standalone mode;
- Preparation of reporting documentation — signing of the work completion report, technical report, and recommendations for further operation.
If component-level restoration of the device is necessary, repairs are performed at the service center of Total-Energo LLC using professional diagnostic equipment.
Battery maintenance
The KStar UBR series operates with external battery packs that require regular maintenance. We provide:
- Battery diagnostics — checking internal resistance, voltage, capacity, terminal condition, and temperature;
- Battery replacement — installation of new AGM or GEL batteries in compliance with electrical parameters;
- Upgrade to LiFePO4 — transition to more modern lithium iron phosphate batteries with BMS control.
Advantages of LiFePO4:
- Long service life — up to 15 years or over 4,000 cycles;
- Increased energy efficiency — stable voltage even under peak loads;
- Lightweight and compact compared to AGM/GEL;
