Total-Energo LLC provides a full range of repair and maintenance services for KStar UB Series uninterruptible power supplies. These are single-phase or three-phase online UPS units with double conversion, designed to provide stable protection for critical equipment in IT infrastructure, telecommunications, the banking sector, and industry. We perform repairs of any complexity using original components, in compliance with the manufacturer’s technical requirements and with a warranty on the work performed.
Repair Work Procedure
Repair work is carried out in accordance with the internal regulations of Total-Energo LLC and includes the following stages:
- Diagnostics — comprehensive inspection of the inverter, rectifier, bypass, control system, fans, battery pack, and interface modules;
- Preparation of a defect report — recording of identified malfunctions, agreement with the customer on the cost and scope of repair work;
- Spare Parts Delivery — if the necessary components are not in stock, they are promptly ordered from the manufacturer or official suppliers;
- Device Cleaning — removal of dust and debris from fans, circuit boards, terminals, and heat sinks;
- Repair or replacement of components — restoration or replacement of damaged circuit boards, power components, thermal protection, display units, or control units;
- Commissioning — starting the system in test mode, verifying operation in online mode, bypass mode, and standalone power supply;
- Final testing — under load, with monitoring of all output parameters and operational stability;
- Preparation of reporting documentation — signing of the work completion certificate, provision of a detailed technical report to the client.
If necessary — repairs are performed at the service center of Total-Energo LLC using bench equipment.
Battery maintenance
The KStar UB series is compatible with various battery pack configurations. Total-Energo LLC offers:
- Battery diagnostics — checking internal resistance, capacity, voltage balance, and temperature;
- Battery replacement — installation of new AGM or GEL batteries in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations;
- Upgrade to LiFePO4 — modernization of the power supply system when increased autonomy and reliability are required.
Advantages of LiFePO4 over AGM and GEL:
- Long service life — up to 4,000+ cycles with deep discharge;
- Improved safety — thermal stability, no electrolyte leakage;
- Lighter weight with the same capacity parameters;
- BMS system — automatic protection, balancing, temperature and current control.
Service support
Total-Energo LLC provides full service support for the KStar UB series UPS:
- Scheduled inspections — in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended schedule (1–4 times a year);
- System monitoring — via SNMP/RS-232 or other communication interfaces;
- Software updates — reflashing, configuration of operating logic, updating interface modules;
- Load testing — simulation of emergency modes, verification of system response;
- Consulting and support — staff training, recommendations on the operation of UPS and battery equipment.

At the customer’s request, Total-Energo LLC enters into a service agreement for KStar UB, which guarantees:
