Repair Work Procedure
The INVT RM UPS maintenance process involves a phased approach:
- Diagnostics — inspection of each module (inverter, rectifier, communication, monitoring), analysis of event logs, and testing of the battery module;
- Preparation of a defect report — documenting identified malfunctions, agreeing on the scope and timing of repairs with the customer;
- Spare Parts Delivery — ordering original modules or components if they are not in stock;
- Cleaning and Maintenance — professional cleaning of each module, including fans, connectors, and circuit boards, to remove dust and dirt;
- Repair work — replacement of faulty modules, repair of inverter, control, and BMS boards; restoration of functionality of individual assemblies without complete replacement;
- Commissioning — verification of system operation in all modes, including a test run under load, synchronization of modules and controllers;
- Final testing — a full cycle of checks for power supply, phase balance, and the correct operation of the bypass and monitoring system;
- Documentation preparation — signing of the certificate of completion, technical report on the repairs and maintenance performed.
In cases of complex modular repairs (component-level restoration) or calibration — the equipment is transported to the service center of Total-Energo LLC.
Maintenance and modernization of the battery pack
INVT RM supports external battery modules, which may consist of:
- AGM or GEL batteries;
- New-generation LiFePO4 batteries.
Total-Energo LLC offers the following services:
- Battery diagnostics — measurement of resistance, voltage, capacity, and analysis of temperature indicators;
- Battery replacement — installation of new cells in accordance with UPS specifications and autonomy requirements;
- Switching to LiFePO4 — power supply unit upgrade using lithium iron phosphate batteries.
Advantages of LiFePO4 over AGM/GEL:
- Last 2–3 times longer (up to 15 years);
- Are lighter in weight and have higher energy density;
- Are protected against overheating and leakage;
- Maintain stable performance under high loads;
- Equipped with a BMS system for protection, balancing, and monitoring.
