Repair Work Procedure
Repair work is carried out in accordance with technical regulations and includes the following stages:
- Detailed diagnostics — analysis of error codes, inspection of the inverter section, control logic, network interfaces, temperature sensors, and phase synchronization.
- Assessment of the condition of key components — inspection of IGBT modules, rectifiers, filters, DSP boards, battery connections, and the condition of the bypass circuit.
- Compilation of a list of malfunctions — creation of a defect report documenting deviations from normal operation, provision of a commercial offer.
- Supply of spare parts — if necessary, we promptly supply original General Electric components or compatible solutions: driver boards, fans, controllers, relays, interface modules.
- Device cleaning — removal of dust, soot, and oxides; treatment of circuit boards with antistatic agents; cleaning of cooling systems.
- Repair services — replacement or repair of electronic and power components, verification of mode switching logic (online, bypass, standalone), BMS configuration.
- Commissioning — startup with real-time parameter verification, testing with a connected load, monitoring of phase symmetry and voltage stability.
- Final testing — continuous operation under load with efficiency measurement, verification of mode transitions, and analysis of power lines.
- Documentation preparation — signing of the work completion certificate, provision of a report with the technical expert’s conclusions.

Battery maintenance and modernization
GE TLE UPSs can operate with external battery cabinets of various configurations. We provide a full range of battery maintenance services:
- Battery condition check — assessment of remaining capacity, voltage, temperature, charge/discharge currents, and runtime;
- Battery replacement — installation of new AGM, GEL, or lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries upon customer request;
- Battery system upgrade — increasing capacity, adding cabinets, adapting to changed load conditions;
- Integration with BMS — ensuring parameter control, balancing, and temperature monitoring.

- Significantly longer service life — up to 10 years or over 4,000 cycles;

General Electric TLE UPS Service Support
