Total-Energo LLC performs professional repairs of General Electric Lan Pro LP33 series UPS units with capacities ranging from 10 to 120 kVA, including the LP33-10kVA, LP33-30kVA, LP33-60kVA, LP33-120kVA models, and other configuration options. These are three-phase UPS units with double conversion (online, VFI) used in industry, data centers, medical facilities, and critical infrastructure UPS systems. We provide full maintenance services, prompt diagnostics, restoration of functionality, and modernization of battery systems.
Repair Workflow
Repair of LP33 series UPS units is carried out according to a comprehensive procedure that includes the following stages:
- Initial diagnostics — reading event logs, analyzing error codes, checking input/output voltages and currents, testing inverter, rectifier, filter, and communication board components.
- Fault identification — preparation of a defect report detailing identified malfunctions (fan failure, IGBT module degradation, interface errors, overheating, loss of synchronization, etc.).
- Spare Parts Supply — if parts are not in stock, original GE components are ordered: control boards, interface modules, current sensors, thyristors, contactors, and fans.
- Equipment cleaning — removal of dust, condensation, and oxides; cleaning of the bypass board, internal cooling channels, contact groups, and the housing.
- Repair work — replacement of damaged components, repair of the inverter stage and synchronization units, inspection of the switching circuit and stabilization module.
- Commissioning — system startup with verification of Online, ECO, and Bypass modes, load testing, and verification of correct display and signaling.
- Final testing — a full cycle of tests on a load bench or at the customer’s site, including verification of runtime.
- Documentation of results — signing of the work completion report, submission of the technical report to the customer, recommendations for further operation.
In the event of complex malfunctions requiring micro-soldering or diagnostics at the component level, repairs are performed at the service center of Total-Energo LLC, which is equipped with professional diagnostic and testing equipment.
Maintenance and modernization of the battery unit
The LP33 UPS typically uses external battery cabinets with a backup runtime of up to several hours. Given the critical nature of backup power, we offer:
- Testing of existing batteries — measuring voltage on each battery, identifying weak links, and testing capacity and charge/discharge currents;
- Battery replacement — use of new AGM/GEL units in accordance with GE specifications or recommended certified equivalents;
- Upgrade to LiFePO4 — installation of lithium batteries with built-in BMS, providing greater stability and service life.
Advantages of LiFePO4 compared to AGM and GEL:
- Service life — up to 10–15 years (over 4,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge);
- Greater voltage stability in critical operating modes;
- Lower weight and size while maintaining capacity;
- Low self-discharge and high efficiency in long-term standby;
- Safety — minimal risks of thermal runaway and short circuits.
When switching to LiFePO4, full adaptation of UPS settings (charge current, threshold voltages, control logic) is performed, as well as verification of compatibility with BMS protocols.
Service support and scheduled maintenance
Total-Energo LLC provides full service support for the LP33 UPS, including:
- Regular preventive maintenance — visual inspection, ventilation check, testing of modes and interfaces;
- Firmware updates (for supported models);
- Generation of reports on system operation, recommendations for the customer’s IT departments;
- Periodic battery testing with parameter recording in a technical log;
- Load audit — verification of load distribution across phases, actual power consumption.
Signing of a service maintenance contract
Total-Energo LLC offers the conclusion of a service maintenance contract for legal entities, which provides for:
- Scheduled inspections at clearly defined intervals (1–4 times a year);
- Rapid response from the service team to emergency calls;
- Priority delivery of spare parts without delay;
- Scheduled battery replacement before the end of the warranty period;
- Consulting support regarding equipment integration, upgrades, and modernization.
General Electric Lan Pro LP33 — is a high-tech uninterruptible power supply system that requires a responsible and experienced approach to repair and maintenance. We provide transparent terms of cooperation, technical expertise, and real cost-effectiveness for every client.
