Our service center performs repairs of any complexity—from battery replacement to the restoration of control boards or power modules. Repair Work Procedure
- Initial Diagnostics — performed at the customer’s site or at the service center to identify malfunctions, assess the overall condition of the equipment, and analyze errors in the event log.
- Preparation of a technical report — including a description of defects, causes of malfunctions, and recommendations for repair and modernization.
- Supply of spare parts — if parts are not in stock, original components or certified equivalents are promptly ordered.
- Cleaning and maintenance — cleaning UPS components, cleaning contact points, and inspecting the condition of circuit boards, fans, and connectors.
- Repair work — replacement of damaged components, restoration of power to circuit boards, control modules, and inverter components, and correction of hardware errors.
- Commissioning — checking all operating modes, configuring interaction with external systems, verifying synchronization.
- Load testing — simulation of emergency situations, measurement of voltage, frequency, battery switchover time, and return time.
- Signing of the certificate of completion — with a detailed description of the repaired components and recommendations for further operation.
In cases of complex or long-term repairs, the equipment is transported to the service center of Total-Energo LLC with the issuance of the corresponding acceptance certificate.
Battery replacement
One of the most common stages of repairing the Eaton 93E is the upgrade or replacement of the battery pack. We perform:
- Replacement of worn-out AGM or GEL batteries with new original or equivalent ones (as agreed with the customer);
- Upgrading the battery pack to increase capacity or runtime as needed;
- Switching to LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) batteries to reduce system weight, increase cycle life, improve safety, and enable faster charging.
Advantages of LiFePO4 over AGM and GEL:
- 3–4 times longer service life (up to 3,000+ cycles);
- Stable voltage throughout the entire discharge cycle;
- Fast charging and low self-discharge;
- Improved fire safety;
- Lighter weight for the same capacity.
