Total-Energo LLC provides professional repair and maintenance of AEG Protect Flex series modular uninterruptible power supplies—a universal solution for medium- and large-scale critical loads. The system is designed to meet requirements for high availability, scalability, and configuration flexibility, making it suitable for data centers, industrial facilities, medical institutions, transportation, and telecommunications facilities.
Protect Flex supports hot-swappable power modules, features a built-in monitoring system, high efficiency (up to 96%), and a wide range of configurations (from 10 to 600 kVA). The hardware architecture provides N+1 redundancy and full fault tolerance without system downtime during maintenance.
Repair Work Procedure
- Preliminary system diagnostics via the LCD interface or software for reading logs, events, and load history;
- Checking all power modules for faults, degradation, power loss, or temperature violations;
- Testing control modules, the monitoring system, and communication ports (Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, CAN bus);
- Assessment of the condition of the external or integrated battery array: voltage, resistance, capacity, balancing, connection to the BMS;
- Analysis of the bypass module's operation, checking voltage and frequency parameters, switching time;
- Cleaning of internal cooling channels, checking of fans and temperature sensors, replacement of consumables;
- Preparation of a defect report and coordination of the restoration plan with the client;
- Delivery and replacement of faulty modules — power, charging, control, communication, and fan modules;
- Firmware updates for all system functional blocks as needed;
- Commissioning and debugging: verification of operation in normal and emergency modes, verification of redundancy;
- Final testing with load and simulation of emergency situations;
- Signing of the work completion report detailing all actions and recommendations for future maintenance.
Repair of complex cases, including malfunctions of power buses or BMS interfaces, is performed at the service center of Total-Energo LLC with full technical testing.
Replacement and modernization of the battery pack
Protect Flex is compatible with external battery systems, including lithium-ion batteries. We offer:
- Replacement of worn-out VRLA batteries (AGM or GEL) with certified modules in accordance with UPS technical requirements;
- Transition to lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) with the following advantages:
- Longer service life — over 6,000 cycles;
- Lightweight and compact;
- Enhanced safety, fire resistance, and low self-discharge;
- Support for BMS and remote monitoring;
- Improved runtime with limited cabinet space.
- Battery integration into the UPS control system — with charge/discharge monitoring, remote logging, and alarm signals.

- Periodic system maintenance — including inspection of all modules, batteries, and interfaces, software updates, and cleaning of the cooling system;
- Remote status monitoring with analytics, alerts, and recommendations from our service department;

Signing a service agreement

- Quarterly/semiannual scheduled maintenance with guaranteed response times for technicians;
