Repair Work Procedure
- Initial diagnostics of the device: reading logs, evaluating event logs, analyzing the operation of the inverter, bypass, and charging module;
- Battery condition assessment: checking cell voltage, internal resistance, and capacity compliance with specifications;
- Analysis of the control board: testing the microprocessor, display board, USB/RS-232/SNMP ports, and temperature sensor board;
- Checking the logic power supply and the operation of power components — IGBTs, relays, rectifiers, filters, DC buses;
- Cleaning the cooling system, heat sinks, fans, and checking temperature conditions inside the enclosure;
- Preparation of a defect report assessing the need for component replacement and approval of the cost estimate;
- Delivery and replacement of faulty components (logic, power section, batteries, interfaces, etc.);
- Firmware updates (if necessary and if manufacturer updates are available);
- Commissioning and debugging: checking all modes (main, backup, battery-powered, bypass);
- Final testing: operation under load, verification of runtime, and load balance across phases;
- Signing of the work completion report and handover of the device for operation.
If the malfunction involves deep-level electronics or BMS units of external batteries, repairs can be performed at the specialized facility of Total-Energo LLC using laboratory equipment.
Battery replacement and battery circuit modernization
The AEG Protect C series allows for the connection of external battery units and is flexibly configurable to meet the needs of autonomous operation. Total-Energo LLC offers:
- Replacement of worn-out lead-acid batteries (AGM, GEL) with new ones, featuring an extended service life (up to 10 years);
- Upgrade to LiFePO4 batteries:
- Service life of over 6,000 cycles;
