Total-Energo LLC provides a full range of services for diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of AEG Protect 4 uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) — compact onlineUPS designed to ensure a reliable power supply for critical loads in small data centers, medical facilities, banking institutions, laboratories, offices, and telecommunications infrastructure. The Protect 4 series is designed for operation in single- or three-phase networks (depending on the model), supports double-conversion technology, and guarantees stable output voltage.
AEG Protect 4 is compatible with external battery modules, supports intelligent monitoring, protection against overvoltage, short circuits, and overheating, and can be integrated with BMS systems and network management (SNMP, Modbus, dry contacts).
Repair Work Procedure
- Diagnostics of hardware modules: inverter, rectifier, charger, static bypass, battery controller;
- Check of control electronics and digital communication interfaces: USB, RS-232, SNMP, Modbus TCP/RTU;
- Analysis of internal event logs: detection of faults, failures, overloads, voltage and temperature deviations;
- Battery condition assessment: measurement of voltage per cell, internal resistance, balance, and battery capacity;
- Cleaning the device of dust, checking fans and cooling channels, replacing filters as needed;
- Preparation of a defect report — recording all identified issues and coordinating the scope of repairs with the customer;
- Supply of original or certified spare parts: power modules, logic boards, displays, power relays, ventilation units;
- Repair or replacement of damaged components with compatibility and reliability testing;
- Commissioning and debugging — verification of operation with the mains, batteries, and bypass, load testing;
- Final testing of all functions: switching time, signal waveform, temperature control, voltage stability;
- Signing of the work completion report — recording of results, list of replaced parts, operational recommendations.
If critical damage is detected or complex restoration is required, repairs are performed at the certified service center of Total-Energo LLC with subsequent return of the equipment and a warranty.
Battery replacement and upgrade
Protect 4 supports flexible connection of external batteries. We offer:
- Replacement of standard VRLA batteries (AGM or GEL) selected according to the UPS’s technical specifications;
- Upgrading of battery systems based on LiFePO4, which provides:
- Longer service life — over 6,000 cycles;
- Lower weight and dimensions for the same capacity;
- Higher safety and thermal stability;
- Wide operating temperature range without loss of performance;
- BMS support for monitoring and control.
- Calculation of runtime according to user needs and manufacturer recommendations.
AEG Protect 4 service support
- Regular maintenance with inspection reports, software updates (if applicable), and cleaning of internal modules;
- Rapid response in the event of malfunctions, with a specialist visiting the site;
- Installation of SNMP monitoring, dry contact relays, and Modbus modules for integration with external dispatch systems;
- Consulting and staff training on the proper operation of the UPS and monitoring of battery status;
- Maintenance of the UPS technical log — service history, recommendations, intervals for inspections, updates, and replacements.
Signing of a maintenance contract
Total-Energo LLC offers to conclude a maintenance contract for the AEG Protect 4 UPS on individual terms, including:
- Periodic scheduled inspections 1–4 times a year with a full check of all system components;
- Prompt delivery of spare parts and repairs carried out as quickly as possible;

- Scheduled modernization or firmware updates for controllers, displays, and software;
