Commissioning and adjustment work is performed by certified engineers taking into account the manufacturer's recommendations, BMS type, operating scenario and design of the entire power supply system.
What is included in commissioning and adjustment work
1. System check before start-up:
- Inspection of the installation of the inverter, battery, cable lines, grounding
- Checking the compliance of cable cross-sections, the presence of protections (BatteryProtect, fuses, circuit breakers)
- Visual check of the connection of LiFePO₄ batteries to the inverter or external BMS
2. Configuration of the MultiPlus inverter:
- Connection to the device via VE.Bus and the VEConfigure or VictronConnect program
- Choice of charging algorithm: LiFePO₄ (fixed) or manual setting
- Setting parameters: Bulk, Absorption, Float, Max Charge Current
- Limiting the charging current according to the battery characteristics
- Inverter/Charger settings: frequency, voltage, network type, overload limit
3. Integration with BMS system:
- Connection of VE.Bus BMS, VE.Can BMS or Smart BMS from Victron Energy
- Checking signals: “Allow to Charge”, “Allow to Discharge”, “Error”
- Configuring protection logic in case of loss of communication with BMS or overvoltage
4. Connection to monitoring:
- Integration with Cerbo GX, Ekrano GX for data visualization
- Checking connection to VRM Online Portal
- Configuring remote access, logging, e-mail notifications
5. Testing and simulation of modes:
- Checking operation in battery power mode
- Simulating mains failure, source switching test
- Checking PowerAssist, PowerControl functions
- Controlling the display of parameters: voltage, current, temperature
6. Customer instruction:
- Overview of monitoring interfaces, explanation of main modes
- Recommendations for operation, maintenance, software updates
- Explanation of the importance of regular BMS checks and updates
