Total-Energo LLC provides professional tuning services for Victron Energy MultiPlus inverters for use with AGM and GEL type lead-acid batteries. We perform a full range of commissioning work, taking into account the characteristics of the batteries, operating conditions, inverter operating modes and the requirements of the facility's power supply.
What is included in commissioning work
- System check:
- Checking the correct connection of DC cables, circuit breakers, fuses
- Evaluating the type of batteries (AGM, GEL), their capacity and configuration
- Checking the location of the battery, ventilation, temperature regime
- Setting charging parameters:
- Selecting the appropriate battery type in the VEConfigure or VictronConnect program
- Setting parameters: Bulk / Absorption / Float voltage according to the battery characteristics
- Setting the duration of the Absorption phase, temperature compensation (if sensor is available)
- Limiting the charging current in accordance with the recommended value (10% of capacity)
- Configuration of inverter modes:
- Setting frequency, voltage range, PowerAssist / PowerControl mode
- Limiting consumption from the grid or generator (if necessary)
- Activating energy saving functions (Eco Mode), setting switching between sources
- Integration with monitoring:
- Connection to Cerbo GX / GX Touch / SmartShunt / BMV-700 or BMV-712
- Configuring the output of parameters to the display or Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal
- Testing interfaces, checking voltage, currents, SOC
- System testing:
- Start in mains mode → battery → inverter
- Testing switching and behavior under load
- Checking output voltage, frequency stability, behavior at full charge and discharge
- Customer briefing:
- Explanation of the AGM/GEL battery charging algorithm
- Instructions for storage, off-season recharging, checking the battery condition
- Transfer of the configuration file, instructions, technical report
