SSQ load switches are designed for manually switching power sources in switchboards (mains vs. generator) and safely breaking the circuit. The series includes models ranging from 1 to 4 poles and rated currents of 25–125 A, allowing for solutions tailored to distribution panels in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
Key Features and Benefits
- Load type: AC-22A — suitable for switching mixed loads.
- Reliable breaking: contact gap in the open position > 3 mm.
- Safety: IP20 protection rating, pollution degree 3.
- Standards: Compliant with IEC/EN 60947-3.
- Sealing of positions (I) and (II) to prevent unauthorized switching.
- Short-circuit breaking capacity (Icm): 1.8 kA (25–40 A) / 4 kA (63–125 A).
Electrical data
- Rated voltage: 1-pole — 230/400 V AC; 2/3/4-pole — 400 V AC.
- Rated currents: 25, 40, 63, 80, 100, 125 A.
- Frequency: 50/60 Hz.
- Warning: The devices do not have thermal or electromagnetic trip units and do not provide protection against short circuits or overloads (install together with appropriate protective devices).
Mechanics, Installation, Connection
- Mounting position: Any.
- Module width: 18 mm (25–40 A series), 36 mm (63–125 A series).
- Conductors (typical): 25–40 A — 1.5–16 mm² single-core / 1.5–10 mm² multi-core; 63–125 A — 2.5–50 mm² (single-core/multi-core).
- Screws and tightening torque: PZ1 — up to 1.2 N·m (25–40 A); PZ2 — up to 3.5 N·m (63–125 A).
Application diagram
The I–0–II switch allows selection between the main power source and the generator in 1p/2p/3p/4p networks (connection examples in the manufacturer’s diagrams).
