We perform a full cycle of commissioning, including configuration of charging parameters, setting of switching logic between power sources, testing of operation under load, and connection to monitoring systems.
What is included in commissioning
1. System check and preparation
- Installation overview: inverter, battery, protections, grounding
- Determination of battery capacity and type (AGM or GEL)
- Checking the compliance of cables, fuses, circuit breakers
2. Inverter configuration via VEConfigure
- Selecting battery type (AGM Deep Cycle or GEL Deep Cycle)
- Setting Bulk / Absorption / Float voltages according to passport data
- Setting Absorption time and transition to Float
- Charging current limitation: 10% (max. 20%) of battery capacity
- Activating temperature compensation (if there is a sensor)
3. Power supply configuration
- Setting AC Input 1 (mains) and AC Input 2 (generator)
- Limiting power consumption from the mains via PowerControl
- Activating PowerAssist to compensate for peak loads
- Switching logic between mains, generator and battery
4. Monitoring and control
- Connection to Cerbo GX, Color Control GX or SmartShunt
- Visualization of SOC, voltage, current, battery temperature
- Setting up access to Victron Remote Management (VRM)
- Checking the event log, alerts, system logs
5. System testing and transfer
- Checking the system operation under load in different modes
- Testing switching of power sources and charge/discharge modes
- Transferring the saved configuration file to the customer
- Instruction: operation, maintenance, storage of the battery
