The Lynx Distributor 1000 (M8) — is a high-current DC distribution module that allows for the safe and organized connection of up to four loads or chargers in 12/24/48 VDC power systems. Each output is equipped with a built-in fuse and LED status indicator, and integration with the Victron GX system via Lynx Shunt VE.Can or Smart BMS enables remote monitoring and control.
Key Benefits of the Lynx Distributor
- 4 independent outputs with individual fuses (CNN/Mega)
- Maximum current: 1000 A
- LED indicator for fuse status (normal/tripped/fault)
- RJ10 connection to Lynx Shunt VE.Can or Smart BMS for monitoring
- Support for VE.Can transmission of fuse status to Cerbo GX
- M8 bolt connections with secure cable fastening
- Compact, scalable design — up to 4 modules in a system
Technical Features
Modularity and Scalability
- Ideal for complex architectures
- Power input — via Lynx Power In / Class-T
- Outputs — to inverters, chargers, controllers
- Monitoring — via Lynx Shunt or Smart BMS
Fuses and their monitoring
- Supports CNN or MEGA fuses up to 500A
- Each fuse has its own LED indicator
- In case of a blown fuse — lights up red; status can be viewed via Cerbo GX
- All signals are routed via RJ10 to the Shunt or BMS for VE.Can communication
Safety and organization
- All busbars are enclosed in protective covers
- Input cables are routed from the top or bottom
- Supports balanced connection of loads for even distribution
Application scenarios
- Residential systems with multiple inverters/chargers
- Systems with MultiPlus, Quattro, SmartSolar MPPT, Cerbo GX
- Industrial projects with centralized DC busbaring
- Mobile power systems with multiple power zones
- Marine installations with multiple high-power loads
Communication interfaces
| RJ10 (4p4c) | Fuse status transmission to Lynx Shunt or Smart BMS |
| VE.Can | Via Shunt — data transmission to Cerbo GX or VRM |
| LED (x4) | Visual status indication for each channel |
