Victron Cyrix-Li-Charge24/48V-230A (CYR020230430) — is an automatic relay for charging lithium batteries of the LiFePO₄ Smart series in systems with VE.Bus BMS. It is used to connect a charger or generator to the battery only when the battery condition is safe for charging.
This device is ideal for charging one or more batteries connected in parallel in 24V or 48V systems. It is controlled by the VE.Bus BMS via the Charge Disconnect digital output, automatically opening or closing the charging line.
Cyrix-Li-Charge main functions:
- Automatic connection of the charger at a safe battery voltage level and permission from the BMS
- Automatic disconnection in case of overvoltage, overheating or undercooling of the battery
- Power-on delay — 3 seconds to prevent interference
- Check function after charging — Cyrix periodically disconnects to check for charging current

Principle of operation:
- Cyrix connects the charging source to the battery when:
- BMS Charge Disconnect output is active (high level)
- at the charger input there is ≥26.0 V (or 52.0 V)
- there is at least 2 V on the battery
- Disconnection occurs instantaneously upon a floating signal (e.g. overvoltage or overheating)
- Cyrix rechecks the current after 1 hour and turns on again if necessary
