The SUN-05K-SG03LP1-EU hybrid inverter from Deye is a modern and highly efficient 5 kW single-phase inverter designed for residential and commercial solar systems with off-grid capability. It combines the functions of a grid-tied, off-grid, and UPS inverter, and works with low-voltage batteries (40–60 V), including lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries.
The inverter is equipped with two independent MPPT trackers (operating range 150–425 V), which allow for maximum energy harvesting even from differently oriented and partially shaded solar arrays. The maximum input power of the photovoltaic modules is 6,500 W.
The maximum charging and discharging current is 120 A, with support for three-stage charging with equalization and adaptation to BMS systems, ensuring safe and reliable battery operation. The device supports parallel connection of up to 16 inverters for system scaling.
The kit includes a color touchscreen LCD display for real-time parameter monitoring. The built-in Wi-Fi module and RS485, RS232, CAN, GPRS, Bluetooth, and LAN interfaces allow for remote monitoring and control of the inverter via a mobile app or web portal.
The inverter has an IP65 protection rating, a smart cooling system, and is capable of operating in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +60°C with power derating above 45°C. The noise level does not exceed 30 dB.
