Legrand MEGALINE — is a three-phase online UPS with double voltage conversion (VFI-SS-111), designed to protect powerful and critical electronic equipment in industry, energy, telecommunications, IT infrastructure. The power of MEGALINE models reaches up to 800 kVA with the possibility of parallel operation of up to 6 units to implement N+1 redundancy. The UPS supports operation with external battery cabinets, has high energy efficiency, flexible control and compatibility with diesel generators. Timely diagnostics of MEGALINE allows to guarantee uninterrupted functioning even in difficult operating modes.
What diagnostics include
Inspection / audit
- Analysis of the connection diagram, number of connected systems and battery cabinets.
- Checking the general physical condition of the housing, ventilation grilles, indicators.
- Inspection of power cables, terminals, grounding, condition of connections and presence of damage.
- Assessment of operating conditions: ambient temperature, humidity, air access.
Electrical tests
- Measurement of input voltage and frequency in three phases, check of power supply symmetry.
- Output voltage control: stability, waveform, frequency, absence of distortion.
- Testing automatic switching between inverter, mains and bypass.
- Analysis of harmonics (THDi, THDu), power factor and overall efficiency.
Inverter / rectifier / bypass test
- Functional test of the inverter: signal stability, response to load changes.
- Analysis of the rectifier operation: charging current stability, conversion parameters.
- Evaluation of the static and manual bypass operation: switching, synchronization, key status.
- Analysis of event logs: recording of accidents, overloads, voltage deviations.
Battery (battery system)
- Inspection of battery cabinet connections: integrity, ventilation, temperature.
- Control of voltage, internal resistance, battery charge uniformity.
- Checking charging parameters in Float and Boost modes.
- Possibility of conducting a control test of autonomy (upon agreement).
Cooling
- Checking the operability of fans, temperature sensors, thermal protections.
- Monitoring the temperature of power components under load.
- Inspection of air ducts and filters for contamination or blockage.
Communications / monitoring
- Testing the display and local interface: displaying parameters, logs, alarms.
- Checking the operation of remote interfaces: SNMP, RS-485, Modbus, Ethernet.
- Checking communication with centralized BMS/SCADA or Legrand software modules.
Technical report
- Documented diagnostic results with conclusions and digital measurements.
