Legrand KEOR MOD — is a modern three-phase modular online UPS with double voltage conversion (VFI-SS-111), designed for critical applications: server, data centers, industrial complexes, telecommunications, banking infrastructure. The system allows scaling up to 250 kVA in a configuration with hot-swap modules with a capacity of 25 or 50 kVA. Thanks to its flexible architecture, KEOR MOD supports N+X redundancy and provides a high level of reliability. Timely diagnostics are a key condition for stable system operation, detection of degradation of individual modules and prevention of accidents.
What diagnostics include
Inspection / audit
- Assessment of the system configuration: number of working and standby modules, their condition and location.
- Inspection of the cabinet body, presence of ventilation ducts, integrity of connections and switching.
- Checking the correctness of installation, grounding, access to maintenance elements.
- Analysis of operating conditions (temperature, humidity, dust), compliance with placement standards.
Electrical tests
- Control of input voltage, frequency, symmetry in three phases.
- Checking the output voltage: regulation accuracy, waveform, stability under load.
- Assessment of transitions between inverter, grid and bypass, checking of switching speed.
- Measurement of harmonics (THDi, THDu), power factor, efficiency assessment.
Verification of inverter / rectifier / bypass
- Functional testing of each module: inverter, rectifier, protection circuit.
- Analysis of synchronization between modules, load distribution and parallel operation performance.
- Verification of static bypass operation: switching, absence of sticking, synchronization with the grid.
- Reading logs: accidents, warnings, information events and operation chronology.
Battery (battery system)
- Checking external battery cabinets: connection, ventilation, temperature, wear.
- Measurement of voltage, internal resistance, charge/discharge currents for each block.
- Evaluation of Float/Boost modes, control of voltage balance between batteries.
- Conducting an autonomy test upon prior agreement.
Cooling
- Monitoring the operation of fans of each module: noise, speed, presence of overheating.
- Measuring the temperature of power components and control board under load.
- Checking the cleanliness of air filters, the patency of ventilation ducts.
Communications / monitoring
- Display testing: displaying parameters, alarms, menu accessibility.
- Checking network interfaces: SNMP, Modbus TCP/RTU, Dry Contact, RS-485.
- Integration with BMS/SCADA or third-party monitoring systems. (if available).
Technical report
- Preparation of a technical report with digital measurements, event logs, photo fixation (if necessary).
- Identification of deviations, failures, initial signs of component degradation.
- Recommendations for maintenance, replacement of modules, batteries or software updates.
When diagnostics are needed
- Annually — as a regulated check of the operability of the entire system.
- After replacing or adding modules, reconfiguring the system.
- When warnings or emergency messages appear on the display.
- After starting up in new conditions or long-term storage/disconnection.
