Legrand Keor FLEX — is a modern modular three-phase double-conversion uninterruptible power supply system (VFI-SS-111), built on an architecture with hot-swappable power modules with a capacity of 25 kVA. The system allows scaling up to 250 kVA with N+X redundancy, provides high efficiency and full configuration flexibility. Keor FLEX is used in critical areas: server rooms, telecommunications, medical institutions, industrial processes. Diagnostics of this system is a mandatory condition for maintaining its reliability, especially under conditions of high load density and redundancy.
What diagnostics include
Inspection / audit
- Checking the number of active and standby power modules, the condition of the chassis and installation in the cabinet.
- Inspection of the housing, ventilation holes, access to service elements.
- Checking the correct connection of input/output cables, grounding, terminal part.
- Assessing compliance with operating conditions (temperature, humidity, dust).
Electrical tests
- Measurement of input voltage parameters (for three phases): symmetry, stability, frequency.
- Control of the system output voltage: accuracy, waveform, stability under load.
- Testing the system's response to mode switching: inverter, bypass, network.
- Evaluation of energy quality: THDi, THDu, power factor, efficiency.
Inverter / rectifier / bypass test
- Functional test of each module: inverter, rectifier, power unit.
- Analysis of static bypass operation: speed, no-load/load switching.
- Reading logs: emergency events, warnings, overload, mode switching.
- Control of synchronization between modules, even load distribution.
Battery (battery system)
- Inspection of the battery system (internal or external): connection, ventilation, temperature regime.
- Measurement of the voltage of each battery block, analysis of charging/discharging currents.
- Float/Boost mode control, checking the uniformity of cell charging.
- If necessary - test of autonomous system operation (in agreement with the customer).
Cooling
- Checking the operation of fans in each module: noise, power, wear.
- Monitoring the temperature of power components in dynamic mode.
- Inspection of ventilation ducts and filters for contamination or overheating.
Communications / monitoring
- Testing the local display: displaying parameters, alarms, accessing the menu.
- Checking network interfaces: SNMP, Modbus TCP/RTU, Dry Contact, RS-485.
- Integration with BMS or SCADA monitoring systems - checking the connection and data relevance.
Technical report
- Generation of a complete report with all measurements, logs, module and battery status.
- Detection of degraded components, uneven loading, alarms or failures.
- Providing recommendations for module replacement, battery maintenance or firmware updates.
When diagnostics are needed
- Annually — in accordance with the technical regulations and warranty conditions.
- After replacing or adding power modules or batteries.
- In the event of errors, warnings, unstable operation or reduced autonomy.
- Before putting into operation after storage or a long shutdown.
