Legrand KEOR COMPACT — is a single-phase online UPS with double voltage conversion, designed to power critical consumers in telecommunications nodes, office server, banking systems, retail outlets, as well as automated small business facilities. The power range (from 1 to 3 kVA), compact dimensions, high efficiency and the ability to connect external batteries make this series suitable for continuous operation in confined spaces. Regular diagnostics of KEOR COMPACT allow you to timely detect signs of degradation, prevent accidents and ensure guaranteed autonomy.
What diagnostics include
Inspection / audit
- Configuration identification: model, power, firmware version, battery connection type.
- Overview of the physical condition of the UPS: housing, connectors, ventilation holes, indicators.
- Analysis of operating conditions: availability of cooling, ambient temperature, access to maintenance.
Electrical tests
- Checking input parameters: voltage, frequency, stability of the power source.
- Output voltage control: accuracy, stability under load.
- Testing the transition from power supply from the mains to the inverter and back.
- Evaluation of inverter stability under variable load.
Inverter/rectifier/bypass test
- Inverter functional test: sine wave quality, response to load changes.
- Evaluation of rectifier operation: charging current parameters, presence of software errors.
- Manual or automatic bypass test (if provided for by the configuration).
Battery (battery system)
- Inspection of internal or external batteries: connection, ventilation, condition of the housings.
- Measurement of voltage of each module, control of charge uniformity.
- Evaluation of charging modes: Float/Boost, presence of critical deviations.
- Optional autonomy test under load (upon agreement).
Cooling
- Inspection and testing of fans, checking for noise, vibration or wear.
- Control of the temperature regime of power components at nominal load.
- Inspection of ventilation ducts and filters for dust or clogging.
Communications / monitoring
- Checking the display interface and local control (menus, errors, events).
- Testing RS-232, USB, SNMP ports (if installed), communication with Legrand software or third-party BMS.
- Reading event logs, analyzing warning or failure messages.
Technical report
- Fixing all checked parameters in a structured report.
- Documentation of detected deviations, errors, signs of battery or cooling system degradation.
- Recommendations for further maintenance, software updates, battery or fan replacement.
When diagnostics are needed
- Annually — in accordance with the maintenance regulations.
- After emergency shutdowns or signals of reduced battery life.
- When changing the configuration: adding external batteries or transferring to another facility.
- After prolonged downtime, storage or transfer of equipment.
