Socomec NETYS PE — is a three-phase uninterruptible power supply system with online double-conversion topology, designed to protect critical equipment in industrial, commercial and IT infrastructure facilities. Thanks to its high level of efficiency, the ability to integrate with external batteries and a wide range of communication interfaces, NETYS PE ensures stable operation even in unstable power conditions. Diagnostics cover all key functional blocks, including inverter, bypass, battery systems, cooling and monitoring.
What diagnostics include
Inspection/audit
- Visual inspection of the housing, status indicators, display, ventilation holes and terminal connections.
- Configuration fixation: power, system type, presence of external battery modules.
- Verification of operating conditions: temperature, humidity, ventilation, compliance with installation requirements.
- Electrical installation audit: correct phasing, grounding, condition of protective devices.
Electrical tests
- Measurement of input voltage, frequency and phase symmetry.
- Output voltage control: stability, accuracy, waveform, frequency.
- Testing switching between modes: mains, inverter, bypass, as well as the transition time between them.
- Analysis of the response to input voltage fluctuations, overloads, phase failures.
Inverter / bypass test
- Checking inverter parameters: output voltage, current, temperature, stability of operation.
- Testing the operation of static and service bypasses, checking the correctness of switching without loss of power.
- Evaluation of backup modes and system response to emergency situations.
Battery system (battery system)
- Inspection of battery modules: condition of housings, connections, ventilation.
- Measurement of voltage and control of the charge level of each battery or section.
- Checking the operation of the charger device: stability, charging currents, operating modes.
- System stand-alone operation test: network shutdown simulation, checking the stability of output parameters.
Cooling
- Fan check: functionality, noise level, speed control.
- Temperature monitoring of main components: power modules, batteries, control boards.
- Inspection of ventilation ducts, dust cleaning, checking cooling efficiency.
Communications / monitoring
- Display and control panel check: navigation, access to event logs, alarm messages.
- Testing communication interfaces: RS-232, SNMP, Modbus, dry contacts (depending on configuration).
- Checking integration with monitoring systems: ViewPower or other software for remote control.
Technical Report
- Preparation of a complete technical report with a description of the tested components and test results.
- Recording of detected deviations, malfunctions and potential risks.
- Recommendations for troubleshooting, maintenance, battery replacement and software updates.
When diagnostics are required
- According to the regular service plan — at least once a year.
- After errors or emergency messages appear on the display or in the monitoring system.
- After replacing battery modules or changing the load configuration.
- After installation, transportation or prolonged downtime of the UPS.
