Powercom VGD – Vanguard — is a series of single-phase online UPS with double conversion (VFI), designed to provide uninterrupted power supply to critical consumers in IT infrastructure, automated systems, telecommunications and industry. The devices support precise voltage stabilization, are equipped with an LCD display, advanced monitoring interfaces (USB, RS-232, SNMP) and provide reliable protection of equipment from all typical network problems. Regular diagnostics allow you to identify worn components, assess the condition of the battery and prevent emergencies in a timely manner.
What diagnostics include
Inspection / audit
- Assessment of the physical condition of the housing, display, ventilation holes, terminals.
- Checking the quality of the load connection, power supply and grounding.
- Analysis of operating conditions: temperature, humidity, dustiness, vibrations.
Electrical tests
- Measurement of input parameters: voltage, frequency, stability, acceptance range.
- Analysis of output voltage, frequency, waveform, harmonic level.
- Testing the UPS operation under load and in stand-alone mode.
- Checking resistance to short-term surges, voltage dips, overloads.
Inverter / bypass / charge

Cooling
- Functional check of fans: noise, rotation speed, cyclic operation.
- Measurement of the temperature of the main power modules.
- Inspection of the condition of the ventilation ducts: cleanliness, absence of obstacles to the air flow.
Communications / monitoring
- Checking the operation of the LCD display, the accuracy of displaying parameters and states.
- Testing of RS-232, USB, SNMP ports: data transfer, response to requests, availability of communication.
- Assessment of the possibility of integration with centralized monitoring systems (SCADA, BMS).
Technical report
- Recording of all measured parameters and diagnostic conclusions.
- Description of detected malfunctions or deviations from the norm.
