Powercom MRT – Macan R&T — is a single-phase online double conversion UPS (VFI-SS-111), combining reliability and compactness for protecting office and industrial equipment. The series has advanced monitoring functions, LCD display, the ability to integrate with various communication interfaces (USB, RS-232, SNMP) and increased energy efficiency. Regular diagnostics ensure stable operation, prevent failures and extend battery life.
What diagnostics include
Inspection/audit
- Visual inspection of the housing, display, terminal connections and cables.
- Assessment of operating conditions: temperature, ventilation, compliance with placement standards.
- Checking the quality of the connection to the mains, load and grounding system.
Electrical tests
- Measurement of input voltage, frequency, symmetry and signal stability.
- Checking the output voltage, frequency and waveform under load.
- Testing the response to voltage surges, short-term disconnections and overloads.
- Analysis of operation when switching to autonomous mode (battery power).
Inverter / bypass / charge

- Evaluation of the efficiency of the charge and discharge control system Battery.
Cooling
- Checking the operation of ventilation systems: speed stability, noise level, cooling efficiency.
- Temperature control of key components: inverter, charging module, battery.
- Assessing the cleanliness of ventilation ducts and the presence of dust.
Communications / monitoring
- Checking the LCD display: correctness of displays, menu accessibility, event logs.
- Testing USB, RS-232 and SNMP interfaces: reading parameters, data transfer.
- Integration with monitoring software (AEG UPS Tools or similar systems).
Technical report
- Documentation of all measurement and test results: voltage, current, temperature, battery condition.
