What does professional diagnostics of GE SG UPS include
1. Visual inspection and system analysis
- Checking the housing, ventilation, terminals, cable connections
- Analysis of the front panel, touch display, error messages
- Identification of potentially dangerous conditions or damage
2. Checking input and output parameters
- Measurement of input voltage and frequency on all phases
- Analysis of output voltage stability in online, bypass, battery modes
- Testing switching speed and power continuity
3. Inverter system and static bypass test
- Checking the inverter operation under load
- Transfer to battery in the absence of the network, reverse transfer
- Testing automatic and manual bypass
4. Checking the battery and battery circuit
- Measuring the voltage of the entire battery group, individual blocks
- Checking the condition of cable connections, terminals, thermal protection

- Detection of overheating, dust contamination, changes in cooling capacity

- Reading logs via built-in monitoring or GE software (e.g. Power Insight)
- Analysis of errors, alarms, startup history and transitions between modes
- SNMP, RS232, Modbus TCP/IP test — if available
7. Report and technical recommendations
- Technical conclusion with inspection results
- Identified problems or potential risks
- Suggestions for maintenance, battery replacement, ventilation improvement, software update

- Scheduled maintenance (annually or every 6-12 months for Tier III/IV facilities)
