Centiel EssentialPower™ X1 — are single-phase online UPS of the new generation, designed for uninterrupted power supply of critical loads in medical institutions, laboratories, banking systems, telecommunications infrastructure and industrial facilities. Thanks to high efficiency, precise voltage regulation and wide compatibility with lithium and lead-acid batteries, the system provides protection against all types of power failures. EssentialPower™ Diagnostics X1 covers checking the inverter part, battery pack, bypass functions, cooling systems, event logs and monitoring tools.
What diagnostics include
Inspection / audit
- Inspection of the external condition of the housing, display, indicators, ventilation holes.
- Fixing the model, capacity, battery type, presence of external battery cabinets or integrated unit.
- Evaluation of operating conditions: temperature, humidity, dust, compliance of installation with manufacturer's requirements.
- Analysis of correct connection: network, load, grounding, protective automation.
Electrical tests
- Measurement of input voltage, frequency parameters, check for compliance with standards.
- Output voltage analysis: regulation accuracy, absence of distortion, shape sine waves.
- Test of transitions between modes: power from the mains, from the inverter, from the bypass (if activated).
- Assessment of system behavior when the load changes or unstable input.
Inverter / bypass check
- Control of inverter parameters: voltage, current, temperature, output signal quality.
- Testing of automatic and service bypass operation: serviceability, switching logic, response time.
- Analysis of system response to overload, short circuit, inverter failure.
Battery (battery system)
- Inspection of the battery pack: external condition, connection, marking, signs of degradation.
- Measurement of voltage on batteries or sections (depending on access), detection of unbalanced elements.
- Charging module check: current and voltage stability, Boost/Float modes.
- Autonomous operation test: evaluation of backup time, load, response to discharge.
Cooling
- Checking fan operation: speed, noise level, starting when temperature or load changes.
- Temperature control of power elements: inverter, rectifier, battery pack.
- Assessing the cleanliness of ventilation ducts and grilles, the presence of dirt or restrictions on air exchange.
Communications / monitoring
- Checking interfaces: RS-232, USB, SNMP, dry contacts (by configuration), integration with BMS (if applicable).
- Reading event logs: accidents, overload, battery discharge, changes modes.
- Testing the display, local menu, monitoring software.
Technical report
- Preparation of a complete diagnostic report with operating parameters, logs and test results.
- Identification of potential deviations or failures: battery degradation, overload, bypass instability.
- Recommendations for prevention: battery replacement, cooling system cleaning, firmware updates.
