Borri INGENIO PLUS — is a high-performance three-phase uninterruptible power supply system with an online double-conversion topology, designed for continuous power supply of critical facilities: data centers, medical institutions, banking systems, telecommunications, infrastructure and industrial facilities. What diagnostics include
Inspection / audit
- Visual inspection of the general condition of the case, display, indicators, ventilation holes.
- Configuration analysis: installed capacity, system type (1/1, 3/1, 3/3), number of batteries, connection type.
- Evaluation of operating conditions: ventilation, temperature, space for maintenance, cleanliness of the environment.
- Checking the electrical installation: correct connection, presence of protections, grounding, reliability of terminals.
Electrical tests
- Measurement of input voltage for each phase, frequency and check of harmonic distortion (THD).
- Evaluation output voltage: symmetry, stability, regulation accuracy, frequency.
- Testing transitions between modes: network → inverter, inverter → bypass, return to normal mode.
- Analysis of the response to external disturbances: distortions, voltage dips, frequency instability.
Inverter / bypass check
- Inverter parameter control: voltage, current, temperature of power elements.
- Checking the synchronization, speed and stability of switching between mains power and inverter.
- Testing the operation of the automatic bypass: correctness of logic, load protection, manual transfer (if necessary).
- Assessing the stability of operation at peak loads.
Battery (battery system)
- Inspection of battery packs (internal/external): physical condition, terminals, connections.
- Measurement of voltage on each battery or section, detection of unbalanced or degraded elements.
- Control of charging module parameters: current, voltage, stability of transition between Boost/Float modes.
- Test of autonomous operation with load or in simulation mode with control of stability of output parameters.
Cooling
- Checking all fans for functionality, rotation speed, automatic temperature regulation.
- Control of the temperature of the inverter, bypass, battery section, control boards.
- Inspection of ventilation ducts, filters and radiators, cleaning if necessary.
Communications / monitoring
- Checking the display's operability: menu navigation, access to settings, alarm logs.
- Testing interfaces: SNMP, dry contacts, RS-232, RS-485, Modbus TCP (if available).
- Reading the system log: accidents, warnings, mode switching, messages from the battery.
- Checking the connection with external monitoring systems (SCADA, BMS, ViewPower Pro, etc.).
Technical report
- Documenting the results of all stages of the check in the format of a technical report.
- Fixing diagnosed deviations: battery degradation, inverter errors, cooling instability.
- Providing recommendations: battery replacement, fan maintenance, software update or reparameterization.
When diagnostics are needed
- Regularly — at least once a year or according to the scheduled maintenance plan.
