AEG Protect Flex — is a modern modular uninterruptible power supply system with three-phase input and output, which meets the VFI-SS-111 class. The system is designed for critical infrastructures, data centers, medical institutions, industrial enterprises and facilities with high requirements for power continuity. The modular architecture allows you to scale power and provide redundancy (n+1), so it is especially important to monitor the status of each power module, battery and communications. LLC «Total-Energo» performs full technical diagnostics taking into account the specifics of the modular approach.
What diagnostics include
Inspection / audit
- Visual inspection of the cabinet, power modules, cable connections, ventilation system.
- Checking operating conditions: temperature, humidity, air pollution, availability of maintenance.
- Assessing the correctness of the installation: grounding, fixation, electrical connections.
- Checking the compliance of the configuration with the current load and redundancy.
Electrical tests
- Measurement of input parameters: voltage, symmetry, frequency in three phases.
- Output voltage control: stability, distortion, deviation under load.
- Evaluation of operation in the transition modes between the network, inverter, bypass.
- Calculation of efficiency, measurement of THDi/THDu, power factor.
Checking power modules (inverters / rectifiers / charging modules)
- Assessment of the state of each power module: presence, temperature, load, status.
- Detection of degradation or failure of individual modules: checking synchronization and load distribution.
- Testing the inverter and rectifier circuits at the level of each module.
- Checking the correct operation of the static bypass and its interaction with the modules.
- Analysis of event logs, alarms, switching and redundancy status (n+1).
Battery (battery system)
- Checking the connection of external or internal battery cabinets to each power module (if applicable).
- Measurement of block voltage, internal resistance, charging/discharging currents.
- Assessment of charging modules operation within each power module.
- Control of load distribution between batteries and quality of transition to autonomous mode (without real load or by agreement).
Cooling
- Inspection of fans in each module: noise, speed, performance, redundancy.
- Control of power component temperatures in real time.
- Condition of air ducts, presence of filters, cleanliness of ventilation systems.
Communications/monitoring
- Checking the display of the main control module, access to parameters and settings.
- Assessment of interaction between modules: synchronization, status exchange, error log.
- Testing external interfaces: SNMP, Modbus TCP/RTU, Dry Contact, Web interface (if available).
- Integration with BMS or SCADA: checking responses to requests, displaying parameters in external systems.
Technical report
- Detailed report on each power module, battery, cooling, electrical parameters.
- Separate assessment of redundancy, component wear, configuration compliance with the load.
- Service recommendations: module replacement, prevention, firmware or settings update.
When diagnostics are needed
- Annually — as part of the scheduled maintenance of the modular system.
- After reports of accidents or degradation of power modules or batteries.
- After installing new modules or expanding capacity.
- Before starting up after a long downtime or temporary shutdown of the facility.
