Anti-Islanding Box 63A Victron Energy — is a professional grid protection block for solar power plants and hybrid energy systems, designed for automatic disconnection of the inverter from the power grid in case of emergencies or unstable grid operation.
The RCD000300200 model is used in single-phase and three-phase systems and ensures compliance with the requirements of power grid operators for grid-connected and hybrid solar power plants.
The anti-islanding protection block monitors power grid parameters and prevents the inverter from operating in «island mode», which is a mandatory requirement for systems operating in parallel with the grid.

What is included in the Anti-Islanding Box
The main element of the protection system is a professional voltage and frequency control relay Ziehl UFR1001E, which is responsible for monitoring power grid parameters and controlling the inverter shutdown.
The relay continuously monitors:
- grid voltage;
- frequency;
- ROCOF (rate of change of frequency);
- phase shift (Vector Shift);
- power grid quality;
- status of external contactors.
In case of emergency grid loss or parameters going out of acceptable limits, the system automatically disconnects the inverter from the power grid, ensuring safe operation of the solar power plant.
