BMV-702 Black — This is an extended version of the well-known BMV-700 monitor, designed for systems with two battery banks or batteries connected in series, where midpoint voltage balancing is critical.
It is ideal for AGM, GEL, LiFePO4 batteries and allows not only to monitor the charge level, but also to control the generator operation via a relay, protecting the system from deep discharge or overheating.

Midpoint Voltage Monitoring
BMV-702 Black is unique in that it allows you to monitor the midpoint voltage, especially important for:
- Two 12 V batteries connected in 24 or 48 Volts
- Detection of an unbalanced cell or section
- Prevention of premature battery wear
- Automatic alarm when deviation >2–3%
Midpoint Monitoring — This is professional diagnostics at the engineering level in automatic mode, which will allow you to quickly respond to blocked elements in the battery pack.
Controlling the fuel generator via a relay
BMV-702 Black has a programmable relay output that can be configured to start the generator when:
- Charge level (SoC) < a certain percentage (e.g. 50%)
- Voltage has fallen below the threshold
- Capacity has decreased by a set value
The generator automatically turns off when:
- SoC > set level (e.g. 95%)
- Charging time is over
- Charging current has decreased to a stable level
Especially effective with LiFePO4 batteries because:
- They charge quickly with high currents
- Less generator time required
- Less fuel, less noise, longer battery life
