The ETIMAT 6 series of circuit breakers — is a versatile line of modular electrical circuit protection devices designed for use in residential, commercial, and industrial distribution panels. The circuit breakers cover a range of rated currents from 0.5 A to 63 A, available in single-, double-, triple-, and four-pole versions, as well as in 1p+N and 3p+N configurations. Features
ETIMAT 6 was designed with a focus on practical installation and long-term reliability. The device features a special tool-free mounting on a TH35 DIN rail, allowing for quick installation and replacement of modules without the need to dismantle the busbar system. The presence of a sealed panel/sealing capability in the ON/OFF position makes the series suitable for use in locations requiring protection against unauthorized tampering.
To ensure the stability of the thermal release settings, the manufacturer has provided a mechanism to lock the adjustment screw using paint—this allows factory or service-set values to be preserved and prevents settings from shifting during operation. In addition, the design incorporates a quick-start function to increase the switching capacity of the mechanism during repeated starts.
Applications
ETIMAT 6 series circuit breakers are designed to protect AC electrical circuits against overloads and short circuits. Typical application scenarios:
- Distribution panels in residential and multi-family buildings — protection of outlet groups, lighting, and household appliances.
- Commercial and office spaces — protection of workstations, air conditioners, lighting, and low- and medium-power loads.
- Small production lines and technical rooms — switching and protection of loads with short-term inrush currents (variants with B, C, D characteristics).
- Sectioning and selective protection system — in combination with the correct selection of characteristics and fuses, allows for the construction of selective protection circuits.
The series is suitable for both standard 230/400 V AC networks and specific configurations (1p+N, 3p+N variants), and allows installation in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +50°C while maintaining performance characteristics. Please note that for variants with D-rating and for higher ratings, there are specific requirements for packaging and trip currents

The ETIMAT 6 series offers a range of compatible accessories that expand functionality and ease of use:
- PS ETIMAT 10 contact block — mounts on the side of the circuit breaker for remote status signaling (NO/NC variants); allows the “on/off” signal to be transmitted to monitoring systems.
- DA ETIMAT 10 independent trip unit — enables remote tripping of the circuit breaker (available in 230 V, 48 V, 24 V AC/DC versions). Ideal for integration into centralized control systems and automatic transfer switches.
- Sealing panel — for closing and sealing circuit breaker terminals, which is important for compliance with safety and audit requirements.
- Terminal plug — for temporarily covering unused terminals and providing additional protection against accidental contact.
